back again...

hey everybody :)
im the new aamir khan..lol...just 1-2 blogs per semester (and the latest "ghajini" style haircut too !) :P :D lol...actually wanted to update my blog as soon as i came back from the industrial trip but found no time..

The industrial tour by far was the best phase of engineering life for most of my classmates..we had the fun of our lives...we toured places like bangalore ( the only drab place of the whole lot ), allepy, munnar ( heaven), kanyakumari and trivandrum...
10 days+37 students+2 staff members+sexxy hotels+below average food+keka sight seeing+photographs+long bus journeys and train journeys+awesome fun..life max :)

bw the results came out guys..once again (proudly) cleared all subjects with an above average percentage :) [ god knows how ] i mean seriously expected 2 wickets but somehow umpiring was bad !! :D { lame joke, dont get deep into it }

now 3rd yr has officially started guys and a royal "booooo" to the subjects again. this time worse actually..we've entered the core of electronics and instrumentation and they suck big time..already set an olympic world record of max number of yawns in a single class of 50 mins ( forgot the count also)
the faculty sucks w.r.t teaching ( i shouldn't be saying this but the fact remains) ,the subjects are screwed, my bus timings are irregular, shani is revolving around my head, missing my sister etc..all in all reminds of tht song "rape me...." :P (R.I.P kurt cobain)

and finally got some direction atlast in life...decided to crack CAT exam...joined T.I.M.E institute and the classes have started in full swing..and this time the cat exam is going online kathe!! i mean why is it that the pattern changes before my batch writes the exam ??
-->IIT-the year before i wrote JEE the exam went objective type.
-->Btech- well..they've changed the pattern of not the question paper but the answer sheet !!! :D 40 pages booklet with no extra additionals...
and now CAT goes online. kaiko re bai hamesha it happens to my batch only ?? what only...

bw...the saddest news i received was MJ's death.. i officially use this post to specially pay my tributes to him.. i was some level fan of his style and all..i was one of those millions who used to scribble all his songs on the benches, one of those who tried to copy his moonwalk and other complex dance moves,one of those who tried to immitate his "eee-heee" and all that, one of those who always used to open my mouth wide after seeing his videos...one of those whole damn lot :(
miss you, michael (screw those molestation charges against him)

end of 2nd yr..

back to business :)

so guys its officially over...the 2nd yr of engineering has finally come to a fitting end....end of all the external and internal exam thingy, end of those elusive lectures, end of night-outs for studying and preparing(balls!!), end of those jobless discussions ..end of 'em alll..

2nd yr actually had the most auspicious of starts...1st day lab mass bunk....everyone audaciously bunked the post-lunch session lab...not an insect attended..due to this appreciative effort, the very next day got the most royal whipping from the H.O.D...aftermath of the "i-am-veer-pratap-singh" attitude :P

and this was the 1st time we had this semester-system...in the 1st yr we had a consolidated exam at the end of the year...but this time it was different..the academic yr was divided into 2 semesters..so we had not one "annual exam" but two of them...
so totally we had to prepare 12 subjects (8 units in each subject) and clear 4 labs ( 10 experiments approx in each) in one year

(loser1: im not superman)

2-1 semester had this whole set of come-get-fuc*ed subjects...over-technical, total bakwaas and really hard to score marks kind...i was successful in scoring my least internal score of 4/20 in STLD emulating my previous worst score of 7/20 in 1st year...

Our thope JNTU exam pattern sucks at the highest level (JNTU is Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-- the main bulls**t university that puppets around 250-260 colleges in Andhra pradesh)

The external exams are total D-grade...8 questions of which u are supposed to answer 5 {we have this set system...each exam has 4 sets..generally out of the 4 , 1 set is dead easy, one is total middle-class, one is different ( generally the oh-shit this question! reaction) and the last one is "only-lord-can-save-ur-ass" type} each question carries 16 marks..the general dumbass strategy of JNTU is set all random 3rd degree 1 mark bits and objective type questions for 16 marks...the funda is very simple :- magnify one char-aana point hiding somewhere deep in the text book, frame a useless question on that point and give it for 16 marks...thts why they say in jntu if u dont know about a tree, tie a goat to it and start writin about the goat..

Loser2 :
what u ppl can do , we jntu studs can do...
but what we have done....IN UR DREAMS !!!

somehow scrapped through 2-1 sem with a decent enough percentage ( for a few losers like loser3: good percentage is nothing but clearing all subjects without any backlogs)

then entered 2-2..the classes started on dec1st 2008..decemeber was full of high-pitch-wimpin..over-security checking everywhere,peace talks, bombs,chandini chowk to china...everything majorly bombed...

then came january..nothing worth mentioning did i do in january i guess..everythhinng was regular and boring..i guess bird watching during our coll fests (had 3 fests in a row) was what i did properly this month..the happiest part of this month was when 2-1 results got announced !

feb started with internals and this time, surprisingly, did quite well...actually the subjects in 2-2 were quite opposite to that of 2-1..we had environmental studies, managerial economics and 4 other subjects of the same degree of stupidity...and then came in those fests with manny paper presentations and other such events..

march never came and god knows when it went...the best part of this month was that trip to IIT madras for a mechanical fest..although i will not mention the full details here i'll put it short-we had the "WALK" of our lives !! :P

april month, as far as JNTU is concerned, simply means "get ready for large scale thrash"..2nd internals, lab externals, hall tickets, exams preparation etc...all those gloomy gloomy things...finally the exams started on 25th april and somehow came to an end on may 7th..

now its festive time again..this post was just the beginning and also to some extent tarnish JNTU and its means...vacations begin...happy independance everybody !!!

P.S. this piece of information needs a special mention..last yr i happened to watch two of the most pathetic movies-love story 2050 and drona(hindi)...slept for a record 45 mins in one and in the other walked out of the theatre 30 mins after the commencement
of the movie...

life's going on...new sem , new class , new subjects , new teachers...but then same old friends , same old canteen, same old stars ,same old blog , same old wimping in heaven... nothing's changed !!

after rockin' the city wid bombs and attacks on taj, terrorists have gone back to sleep and so have we...initially as soon as there was this attack on taj , everyone fwded messages sayin india was united , lets fight terrorism etc etc etc..rallies, smses , news clippings, paper articles , everything !! it was as if overnight they were going to eliminate terrorism...the initial stages of a terror attack i tell u !!! now no one even cares !! :|

and once again once again an indian makes it like real big !!! guess who im talking about ?? of course Mr.Rama Linga Raju !! come on man ... i mean who has the f**kin guts to spoof up 7000 crores ??? this guy is just too cool :P
anyways lord save this poor chap now...

bw WISH U ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR ( god its been 2 months already !!! ) hope 2009 brings in loads of happiness and fun :)

2009 started wid sankranti..kites and fingers both got cut( actually kaaatey :D)

then came valentine's day...after sharing all the love in the air , roses have again become a waste of time !

now..the fest season is on again in town guys..all the colleges wid their colorful posters and creative web design are tryin to grab attention of the ones who are awake and the ones least bothered !! :D

By the way oscar awards are here...and what more ?!?!?! apna very own rahman has bagged 2 out of 3..awesome man !! way to go !!! the whole of India is proud of u ...the greatest composer to ever step foot on mother earth..
and also the brit-indian venture slumdog millionaire has bagged a handful at the prestigious awards ceremony...
looks like slumdog has really become the millionaire now !!

lots more to post but got loads of studyin work to do guys..just wanted to post this to keep my bloggie alive...keep checking out for more masaledaaar news...
