Probably the most memorable day in Indian history ...but for me it was something more than memorable ...


I thought it was gonna be very normal day (i mean the same old hangouts and raise hell scenario) until shriya called up and gave me this idea of visiting an orphanage .. sounded pretty interesting and a program with a "cause"... after a lousy and long discussion , me , shriya , srilu and sushma reddy decided 2 head to Mother Teresa's Sisters for the Poor orphanage home@secunderabad ...
v thought v prolly wud distribute a few stuffz among the kids , spend bout 30 mins and come out ...so v took a big bunch of crayon sets , pens , books and old clothes ..

But u wudnt believe what we wer heading 4

Basically v went with a very straight mind set... v never knew what an orphanage mission wud be like..

So the 4 us met @ shankarmuth in the morning (after having collected funds from frnz !!) and left for the mission ..
Now the mission was very happy and peaceful place from outside . v met one of the sisters there and left our belongings and the clothes that v brought ...then v passed thru this small corridor kind of place and entered the inner portion of the
mission where the children were eagerly waitin 4 the sight of human faces

(And that was it !!!!!!!)

as soon as v entered , a bunch of 10 children with extreme glee on their faces (their happiness couldve brought a mountain down) came dashing towards us to just get a feeling that v wer people who've come to meet them ... then came in the whole
crowd ( about 25 students ) with their greasy faces suddenly fantasising into immortal bliss....they reacted as if they had
seen something miraculous as v 4 stood witnessing the pathetic atmosphere in which they were dwelling .The place was very
badly maintained . lack of cleanliness to say the least ... but im sure u wudnt notice that cuz u had a whole group of over
joyous kids waiting for the slightest of grace wich u wud shower .. the roar of content and joy was golden . They wer really glad to see us .

There wer all sorts of people there . a few mentally ill , a few physically constraint , a few in a very bad shape .. the
place had all sorts of students belonging to probably the lowest status u cud think of .. but as soon as they saw us , they
totally forgot about their physical constraints .. they just ran onto us ...

V dinno where to start from and what to start with (the situation was "when happiness meets confusion")..so v decided to play
with them for sometime .. v played the conventional train games , the merry go round etc ...

Then v asked them to sing a song for us .. and my lord .. the excitement was off the hook ...it was as if they were waitin to a get a word out of throat for years .. they sang manny songs and there was no end to it .even the onez who couldnt speak were trying to sing. their spirit , their liveliness
...god jesus knows what it was like

Then v started spending time with them .. like 5 students stood beside me and told me their names , what they liked to do etc. same was the case with the others . srilu , shriya and sushma also had a very touching conversation with the kids .
v learnt from the students that they needed people to take care of them . hardly a handful people visited that orphanage ( imagine on Independance day no one came to see them ) they just needed a sight of the world thru human eyes . they wanted to live the world normal humans wud live . the point was they needed a human hand to guide them . they needed love and support from us .. everyone thrived for support ..their eyes spoke more than their lips .. their pitiable condition moved us .

then v decided to teach them how to draw very basic elements like various fruits , indian flag etc .. all the little artists took the crayons that v bought and started sketching ... it was a sight that wud even melt da vinci ...

Then v entertained the crowd . srilu with her traditional dance , me with my over shaky body and shriya with her stupid and funny actions tried 2 please the already happy and satisfied crowd . their euphoriant faces made us feel proud . then v
distributed the remaining gifts to them and bid farewell to probably what was the best afternoon that i ever spent . their enthusiastic faces suddenly came 2 a crushing sadness as v said goodbye . v never wanted 2 leave the place and they never
wanted us 2 leave ...

But more than all this it was the feeling that left its mark .. i mean look at ur face in the mirror man ..u've gotta posh 200 square feet bedroom , all the latest GenX facilities , liberty to rule ur world and most of all 2 loving parents who wud
sacrifice every single penny on u ... but on the other side of the coin u hv people who dont even hv a mouse hole 2 possess
who dont hv even a proper daily requirement (genx facilites tho door ki baat hai) . i mean u go around with ur frnz and
hangout , enjoy , hv fun and end ur day on a high . but there are people in this world dude who need ur support . Try to help
the needy .. this mite be a small step by a man , but it definitely wud be a great leap for humanity . do whatever u can . even a single cent is enuff if u have the heart to do it ..this mite sound very stupid to u but u dont know what feeling of happiness u get within urself . "Service to mankind is service to God" is a very popular saying . but do u think ur following it ? i ges i made my point . this is a very mild plea to all the people across the 7 continents.Atleast stand up for the ones who need u

ohkk din getta better title 2 put...just thot wud tell all u guys how me spending my hols .

basically watchin hell number of movies , orkuttin , tv and cricket...

and yeah i joined these "C" classes ... the classes are pretty gud but unable 2 understand....lol...cuz i joined late . the classes commenced from 6th and me along wid sushruth joined on 9th ...so i ges after the backup session it'll be fine .

and yeah now about the movies section...basically saw all the latest releases 1st day (DISCLAMIER : I CAN SENSE\A SHARP BURNING SMELL ...I GES ITS U ..BUT I AINT RESPONSIBLE !!!) a few totally bakwaas and a few gud onez...
the list of all the movies i saw wid my verdict ( DISCLAIMER 2 : totally my opinion ..)


1) SHANKER DADA ZINDABAD : well i ges the title can be renamed as shanker "thatha" zindabad ...straight dust to dust remake of munnabhai ... and a few scenes actually hv been cut from the original movie 2 save money ( i ges the director was sure of
the fact tht he wasnt gonna make enuff money so y waste )
the only difference between this one and munnabhai was the fact tht sanjay gets one straight shot @ his cheek by vidya balan
in the film .. had the herione ( seriously find out what soap she uses 2 take bath re .. she shines as if she uses surf )
slapped chiru then she wudve been gifted with a set of broken teeth on the moviez premiere .. anyways nuttin khaas...wasted money and prolly a better friday afternoon .
and heard sanju baba is in jail ... bhai ..lagey raho !!!!!

2) SIVAJI : The best movie i ever saw ( DISCLAIMER 3 : manny people thought the movie was ohk and not awsum or great )
seriously rajni was the ruler right out of the screws ... watch the movies as manny times as u can and feast ur eyes

3) CASH : straight to the point : meaningless movie !!! dont spend ur cash on cash cuz u'll repent ..seriously ur house is cozier than the cinema hall 4 a nice afternoon nap ... no meaning , no story , no fun , no nuts !!!! every bit of it is
boring ... ajay devganz was the only performance that cud be rated "average" .. rest all ... uhhh...stay away guys !!
NOTE : me still searching 4 ayesha takia .. if u find her then plzz contact me ...i've gotta seriously discuss about her mental condition ..

4) CHAK DE INDIA : hmmm gud , superb, outstanding ..everything
the movie was really awsum dude...take my words...actually i thot it wud be like that faltoo "lagaan" where the entire 2nd
half was cricket ( as if star sports and espn are showing cricket matches 4 lakhs that it took amir khan 2 show a movie on cricket )
but chak de was awsum ...i thot the movie wud be "suck de india" instead of " chak de india " before the movie started...but mazaa chaka diya !!! shahrukh was
mind blowing really ... movie of sportsmanship ( sports"woman"ship) and spirit ...watch it guys ...

ohkk this is the most interesting part of the day .. 6 "elite" cricketers , 3 stumps , OU and there u have it !!!! real fun

TV: Star cricketz rockin guys ..contact ur calbe operator - and india is gonna win the series @ england ...isnt that great and surprising ???? and tendulkar bhai , wen are u gonna score a century .. i mean 99 , 94 , 91 , 81 ... just missin it ...

and then u have orkut ... nuttin much required 2 fill here...i ges the 14000 scraps speak a lot !

i wud like 2 thank my sister of all people ... the only person who took my side even when i had the world against me ( poo i hope ur readin this cuz im sure u've already melted !!!) seriously , in that previous post of mine i mite hv sounded a bit rude...but then this post is the apology letter ! and i luvv u my sweet heart ... pooja santhanam roxxx guys ...accept it...and any prob u hv regarding ur status in any field...hop rite into my house...my sis is ever-ready 2 giv u the right choice ... !!!!!

next i wud like 2 thank myself ... mite sound strange but yeah....

i wud also like 2 thank my stars cuz i feel im really lucky 2 hv got into a gud coll wid an appreciable branch ( and if u dont appreciate the branch , like i care ...$#^&*!)

my sister was surfin the net 2 c the availability of seats in various colleges as per the aieee counsi .... and v saw that all the colls wich came under aieee ranking basis offered me an it orcomputers seat...
then started the discussion

Mom : srinath , all seats of sastra , abc , xyz colls are avaialble da ...and tomo is ur counselling ...i ges u can easily get a seat

Me : yayyyy !!! kool....( and then i was rejoicing more cuz fedex won the 1st set)

Mom : but then srinath ..do u think u need 2 go there and study ?? like ur dad doesnt stay here , ur sister is gonna go 4 her TCS training ....and u go off 2 tanjavur .. i dont like this scattering ....

Me : but y mom ... (and then v open the webpage on sasta's institute ....and also the top 100 engg colls in India .. and saw that sastra was @ the 67th position)

Me : see its in the 67th position and i wanna do computers cuz im interested in it

(my sister wid her witty comments supports me in the beginning)

Mom : no da....y dont u join a local eamcet college in here ?? i mean u din get that bad a rank either ... 12K is like an above avverage rank and u have chances in cvr ...and its a gud college...no a very gud college ....
( gives an example of one of her useless colleague's son )

Me : ( already shattered cuz fedex lost the 2nd set ) amma ....

Then suddenly one of my relatives from chennai calls up and my mom explains the situation

Relative : i found out about sastra...its an excellent college and u can close ur eyes and join there...it is better 2 do what u want in a gud college rather than doin ur B.tech in a local coll

( my mom is in total silence...she doesnt know what 2 say)

(then suddenly my dad calls up)

dad : srinath , i ges its better 2 do eamcet .... like u hv kool chances ....

me : lekin dad , i hv cse in a sooper coll ... y shud i lose that ??? i mean there are 100 ppl out ther who say sastra is an awsum coll ...and in the list also it is in the 67th position ... i hardly find a local coll in that list ...

Mom: but srinath ....dunno da...eamcet is far better

( nadal thrashes fedex in the 4th set and it seems as if the biggest upset in the history is on the cards )

( my only saving grace in this fight was my sister .... )

Sister : but i think joining eamcet is better da . i mean think bout what momz saying also ... i know of manny people who;ve gone 2 other countries 4 further studies after doing their B.tech in a local coll... u hv awsum chances here only !!!

(and she somehow convinces me that she will stand by my side during these 4 years and teach me all the tricks it needs 2 win and etc)

1stly the ladies section :
totally one-sided , uninteresting and obvious !

the princess of clay took less than 1 hr to really demolish ivanovic ( she beat sharapova in the semis but all that din seem 2 disturb henin ) 4 her strait 3rd Rg title and her 4th ! she won it convincingly and comprehensively 6-2 , 6-1... there was no surpirse....it was all henin-day ! i mean there was nuttin much 2 speak about ivanovic except 4 the fact that she was just a formality in the finals !! so no gud !!!!


Men's final :

It wasnt fedexz day at all ....

i mean i cud never imagine that 60 unforced errors cud come out of his bat . it was also the 1st time when fedex cudnt convert any of those countless break points he got in the 1st serve wich cudve pushed the match 2 a closer and nail-biting finish .

Nadal on the other hand was all over the place....the hot favourite had speed going with him along with fedexz lack of confidence ( never did i see fedex gettin tensed about his game like he did yesterday ) fedex had 2 find mouse-holes 2 put the ball away from nadal ... nadal was runnin and attacking rite from the 1st point...he never gave up any point...ANY POINT ..... he broke fedexz serves manny times and won the match 6-3 , 4-6 , 6-3 , 6-4 .

Both men wer chasing history....the title meant a lot to them
fedex wudve been the only person after Rod laver 2 win all 4 grand slams and only the 3rd in history...the win wudve also taken his grand slim titles to 11 titles ... 2nd only to the all time great pete sampras

nadal had a li'll less to achieve....he became the only person after bjorn borg 2 win 3 strait french open titles....thus nadal proved inevitably that he was the " undisputed KING OF CLAY."

BUT FEDERER IS STILL THE BEST.... HEZ THE GREATEST TENNIS PLAYER ! WAIT 4 WIMBLEDON U ALL ..... !!

holidays , along wid bad results , hv brought some of the rarest of probs 2 my body ...

headache ... as usual..stays wid me 4ever !
throat pain ( vocals in vain !!)
neck pain ...( dats y dont practice headbanging)
right ear gone nuts (there sumthin blockin my ear.... tremendous pain )
backache
cold
cough
nose watering
eyes watering ( if i strain my eyes like 4 15 minz or more ... ppl think i'm crying but i actually aint)
phlegm wid a li'll bit of blood
sweating
temperature
etc etc etc
r just a few 2 mention !!!

year of faltoo exams

Thursday , 24th May ....

a very boring and not so happening afternoon ....*yawns*

ohkk so yeah today just hasnt been that kool as i thought i wud be ...as usual woke up in the mornin and went 4 swimming classes ... ahh well enjoyed cuz it rained last nite and the weather was juss fabs !
then came back and had a loong nap till like 12 afternoon ...one of my frnz called me up 2 tell me sum 1 else's total ... i mean juss screw those people who publicise others' result...but yeah it seems one of my frns crossed 300 in his bits exam ... kool...congrats man ...

ohhk now its my time...dunno yaar this year has been the year of all 3rd degree faltoo papers....seriously prepared hard 4 four years and get the easiest iit paper of the decade (or rather the century) i mean every tom dick and harry rote the exam well and was like " yeah i'm gettin this much , i'm gettin that much !" ....same case with aieee ... paper was 222 damn simple n so every fuzz brain rocked the paper

n then came eamcet ... the most useless and worthless exam on godz green earth.... i mean u get 180 minutes 2 answer 160 cookies and all C grade questions....but the worst part was i flopped ( and flopped king size)... was just able 2 get 97 ( din even cross 100 ...thu thu thu ) n got a bad rank ... 12k and a few chillar....will get in some not so gud coll ( plzz i wanna join a coll whose name atleast my neighbours know....already experienced shit with patricks ... when somebody asked me my collz name , i sed patricks n then they wer like " ahem ...where exactly is it?")

so now that leaves me with BITS

All hopes on bits man ... but the paper is " i cant say" types.....no regular pattern , no key , no uniformity , no nuts.....its all fate !! if ur a lucky bum then congrats , u can rock ... if not then baby its not urs anyway !

hardly a few of my classmates got 300+ ... the expected cut-off as of now is sumwer 'round 280 ... god knows whats gonna happen ... me preppin ok ok ok types.... i like start at 9.30 or sumthin n study 4 n hour and a half .... mostly chat wid my frnz online...all those nocturnal freaks cum online only after 10 pm ..... haan off late 22 much conferencing ( darn dunno what i'm gonna do @ bits with this kind of english!) .. real fun .... a room of about 8-10 monkeys goin crazzzzzyyy !!!! its fun da.... n in that fun sumhow i find time 2 manage bits .... "SUMHOW!"
so heard ki the paper is gettin tuffer day by day and chem is the deciding factor .... maths n english is baayen haath ka khel ... fi6 is pretty gud and chem can burn ur ass kathe ! so hope my paper is kool enuff .... arrey i wanna reserve my berth in one place @least ... like i rote 4 exams ... hope i scrape thru atleast one of them....most of my frnz have done.....now its my time.....
"he who laughs last laughs long !!!!" so beware guys ...i'm cumin ! ( but juss pray ki i dont laugh so bad ki later every one looks back and laughs @ me)

haan by the way yesterday nite i was awake to see this match between ac milan and liverpool ( though i dont watch futbol much but yeah juss 2 kind of show off that i saw the match !) i saw it till the half time and the score was liverpool 0 , milan 1
chked out the paper n came 2 know that milan thrashed liverpool 2-1 and became the champs of europe...ahh well whateva....
